Information extraction from a variety of digital devices as evidence in legal proceedings.

In addition to computer hard drives, I have examined equipment including digital video recorders and equipment mounted sensors.

The process included:

• Proper handling of evidence and documentation of chain of custody
• Identifying the likely sources and formats of evidential information
• Considerations of privacy and ownership of data
• Data tidying and analysis
• Considerations of significance of evidence, and lack of evidence
• Data visualization for inclusion in engineering report
